As the Director of Research and Development at Guru Technology, Dr. Yagya Raj Pandey brings over a decade of expertise in IT education, research, and the development of advanced AI systems. With a strong foundation as an Assistant Professor and the Program Coordinator for Graduate and Undergraduate studies in Artificial Intelligence at Kathmandu University, Dr. Pandey has honed his skills in deep learning and machine learning technologies, applying them to solve complex real-world problems.

Dr. Pandey specializes in multimedia information processing, affective computing, and the development of smart systems using deep neural networks. In his role at Guru Technology, he leads cutting-edge research initiatives and drives innovation in AI and smart systems. Drawing on his experience leading the Artificial Intelligence and Smart System Research (AISSR) Lab at Kathmandu University, Dr. Pandey fosters collaborations with both international and national research groups, pushing the boundaries of AI technology development to create impactful solutions.
